In 2014, Pamuntjak co-curated the Fatahillah Food Festival with Hana Makarim as part of the Jakarta Old Town Revitalization program.
In 2022, she co-curated Pameran 100 Tahun Chairil Anwar: Aku Berkisar Antara Mereka, a literary exhibition to commemorate the centennial of the great Indonesian poet Chairil Anwar at Galeri Salihara.
Between 2009 and 2011, she was international jury member of the Amsterdam-based Prince Claus Award on the behest of the Dutch Royal Family.
She has also collaborated on numerous socio-political writing and art-writing projects with non-profit institutions, cultural centres and contemporary art spaces including UNICEF Indonesia, Goethe Institut Jakarta, Museum MACAN, Salihara Art Centre and JEFORAH.

Laksmi joined luminaries such as travel writer legends Sir Paul Theroux and Pico Iyer, award-winning writer and environmental activist Sophy Roberts, and curator and former director of MOMA Harold Koda as author/artist on board the Bali-Tokyo segment of the Silver Whisper on her 2019 World Cruise Tour.
The tour started in San Francisco and ended in London.
During this segment Laksmi not only gave several talks on poetry and history and co-hosted several events on board, but also produced a long poem inspired by the journey. Meanwhile, her book of poems, There Are Tears In Things: Selected Poems and Prose (2001 - 2016) was featured in all 260 suites for passengers of the preceding segment.
